Do you need current, practical legal and financial information to help your church or religiously oriented nonprofit organization? There are tens of thousands of small to mid-sized nonprofit organizations, including churches, in existence today that do not have access to affordable or reliable information on how current developments in the law affect them.

In today’s legal and tax environment, it is critical to know about the best practices of exempt organizations and how to implement them. Many organizations are at risk of either violating the law and thus putting the existence of the organization in jeopardy, or failing to enact proper procedures and internal controls that could leave the organization open to existence-threatening lawsuits.

Our organization provides current, accurate, and practical information that will assist these nonprofits. Currently, the primary means of assistance is through a regular newsletter and a website. There are two versions of the newsletter.

• Basic. The basic newsletter is no charge. Anyone who wants to receive the basic memo can go to our website each month where the basic version of the newsletter is available. Or, sign-up to receive an email notification when new issues are posted on a monthly or bimonthly basis.
• Subscriber. The subscriber’s version of the newsletter is much more detailed than the basic version, offering more information each month. Also, you’ll have full access to several years of back issues as well as numerous memoranda on legal and tax topics. The cost is currently $50 per year.
