On September 25, 2008, President Bush signed into law the new ADA Amendments Act of 2008

Its purpose was “To restore the intent and protections of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.” But remember that the ADA only applies to employers that have 15 or more employees and who are involved in interstate commerce in some way.
