An organization donating medical property can take a full fair market value deduction for the donation.

The organization can do this as long as the use of the donated products will be related to the exempt purposes of the organization and the organization will be using the products for the care of the ill. For purposes of calculating the organization’s public support, it can include the full fair market value in both the numerator and the denominator of its support fractions.
